As discussed in the forum I'm wondering why the .cfg file is created with the content of the original file _and_ the content of the original file is changed to sth. different and then has to be overwriten with the .cfg-file.

Upstream docs indicate that the change is no longer needed. Removed in 3.3.5.1 for the time being, let's see if people experience issues without it.
