Down grade to Portato 0.10, and works.. Other GUIs for Portage and Portatge itself, works great. Therefore is a Bug in Portato 0.11 or newer. Also, could you attach the file /etc/portato/portato.cfg since portato crashed while trying to parse it? KeyNotFoundException: "Key 'collapsecats' not found in section 'GUI' in file '/etc/portato/portato.cfg'."
Bug invalid. it is not really a bug! configuration files out to date! After emerging portato, simply run the commands (logged as root): dispatch-conf or etc-update
