Description Jake Sweany 2003-06-29 20:20:25 UTC
I ran the Live CD and it Booted fine, but shortly after booting it stops and
tons of (what i think is) random text scrolls past the screen and doesnt stop.
It is the gentoo-3stages-x86-1.4_rc4.iso CD. I tryed this with several
different CDs and got the same thing.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. have my computer or similar
2. boot CD
3. do anything for about 2 minutes or less

Actual Results:
I get what i think is random text. A friend will put some pics up later.

Expected Results:
Worked

Hardware:

Motherboard: Asus A7S333

Video Card: GeForce4 Ti 4200

Sound Card: Sound Blaster Live 5.1

Network: F5D5000 10/100 BELKIN pci

CPU: Athon XP 2400+

Ram: It's OLD 2100, so it mignt be a problem, but i ran checks on it and it
looks to work...

general suggestion: try the 1.4_final livecd, and get us some text so we can figure out what's going on.

Moving these so we can remove the "Install CD" component from "Gentoo Linux".

I apologize to everyone for this spam, but according to the bugzilla developers,
this is the only reasonable way to do this.
