From rivendellaudio.org: Rivendell is a complete radio broadcast automation solution, with facilities for the acquisition, management, scheduling and playout of audio content. It has all of the features one would expect in a modern, fully-fledged radio automation system, including support for both PCM and MPEG audio encoding, full voicetracking and log customization as well as support for a wide variety of third party software and hardware. This a ebuild for the latest version of rivendell. This is my first ebuild, and as I have not used this software on some of the exotic hardware it supports, I have omitted some hardware functionality from building. Drivers for this hardware is neither in portage or the kernel. Full functionality is available with jack however. Though this is software is for a very limited audience, I feel gentoo is more suited to this kind of specialization than SUSE. Yours truly, Emery

Created attachment 165170 [details] media-sound/rivendell-1.0.1 I changed options passed to ./configure concerning third party hardware driver support. I had disabled support, but configure determines whether it should be built automatictly. The drivers are at http://www.audioscience.com/internet/download/linux_drivers.htm
