Do we need to be very quick are doesn't it really matter, since you're Almost Dead? ;) Would you ensure that /var/tmp/portage is clean and try it again, please?
I see what the problem is. Please update your system target so that app-arch/lzma-utils gets installed automatically - from the output it's obvious now that src_unpack() failed to unpack an lzma compressed tarball (which isn't a fatal error). *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 207193 ***
