CC'ing sys-auth/nss_ldap maintainers...
Heath, I just saw that you committed this to sunrise too. It would be helpful if you noted that on the bug next time ;)
I was waiting for it to show up in reviewed so that I could note the url in the sunrise availability post and make sure that it would really be there before someone looked.
Now available in the sunrise overlay: http://overlays.gentoo.org/svn/proj/sunrise/reviewed/sys-auth/nss-ldapd Next time I'll make a comment right when I commit something to sunrise and then come back and make an availability comment when it has been reviewed.
I've added 0.6.7 to the tree. Going to review your sasl and kerberos patch and get them merged with upstream.
How is the fix for making sasl and kerberos support configurable via {--enable,--disable}-FEATURE options coming along? I noticed that 0.6.7-r1 is still allowing the configure script to enable sasl and kerberos support based on availability instead of respecting USE flags. When I suggested the fix upstream, his response was somewhat unclear whether he intended to include my suggestions. The configure.ac in 0.6.7 and 0.6.8 do not appear to include them.
fixed in nss-pam-ldapd-0.8.10 (nss-ldapd had it's name changed to nss-pam-ldapd upstream)
