Description David Michael Beerman 2003-06-24 18:40:04 UTC
Included in the trickle-1.04.tar.gz you'll find the trickle-1.04.ebuild, the
Manifest, the ChangeLog en the files directory.

- trickle is a portable lightweight userspace bandwidth shaper. it can run in
collaborative mode (together with trickled) or in stand alone mode.

- trickle works by taking advantage of the unix loader preloading. essentially
it provides, to the application, a new version of the functionality that is
required to send and receive data through sockets. it then limits traffic based
on delaying the sending and receiving of data over a socket. trickle runs
entirely in userspace and does not require root privileges.

proper ebuild for trickle 1.06

Adding an ebuild that seems to work properly for trickle 1.06.
Comment 11 Eric Harney 2003-08-05 14:09:54 UTC
Sorry, ebuild was missing a dependency, going to start a new bug with another ebuild since this one is named v1.04...
