Description Jesus Rivero (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-08-01 07:10:38 UTC
Hello,

  Could you guys please keyword dev-python/nose-0.9.3-r1 ?
  Thats a popular unittest suite that we use in src_test() and some apps that are keyworded in this arches use it.

  Thanks,

  Best regards,

Note to Python team: remove arch restrictions on test in dev-python/sphinx when this is closed
Comment 1 Ferris McCormick (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-08-01 11:56:31 UTC
Added ~sparc to nose-0.9.3-r1 and to nose-0.10.3. I don't know if you need 0.9.3-r1 specifically or not, but without ~sparc 0.10.3 as well, we could lose sparc keyword when this moves beyond 0.9.3-xx.

That said, both versions pass all their tests and so look good.

Thanks, Ferris, yes if ia64 and ppc did 0.9.3-r1 and also 0.10.3, that would be great.
Comment 3 Rob Cakebread (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-08-01 16:49:19 UTC
Note: Dropped ia64 and ppc from dev-python/sphinx, they can be added back in when nose is keyworded.
Comment 4 Raúl Porcel (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-08-01 18:00:17 UTC
~ia64 done
Comment 5 Jesus Rivero (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-08-12 05:31:04 UTC
PPC team, could you take a look at this?

Thanks,
Comment 6 Sébastien Fabbro (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-09-26 20:10:14 UTC
Adding a few arches. Now nose is needed for numpy (and soon scipy).
alpha, hppa, mips, ppc, ppc64, x86-fbsd please re-keyword numpy >= 1.2.0 when done with nose.
Comment 7 Jeroen Roovers (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-09-29 23:56:35 UTC
Both marked ~hppa.
Comment 8 Raúl Porcel (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-10-01 09:04:52 UTC
~alpha done
Comment 9 Brent Baude (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-10-04 16:56:57 UTC
ppc and ppc64 done
Comment 10 Alexis Ballier gentoo-dev 2008-10-18 12:55:54 UTC
well, sphinx isnt keyworded on bsd but nose appears to work so i keyworded it ~x86-fbsd; readd if you need ~sparc-fbsd too

btw:
dev-python/nose/nose-0.10.4.ebuild: 'dev-python/setuptools'
Comment 11 Raúl Porcel (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-12-24 19:15:09 UTC
x86-bsd, ppc, ppc64 keywords are missing from numpy
Comment 12 Brent Baude (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-01-24 18:14:33 UTC
~ppc64 on numpy now
Comment 13 Joe Jezak (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-02-24 06:21:04 UTC
Nothing for ppc to do here, we're out!
Comment 14 Tiziano Müller (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-05-13 09:04:03 UTC
Readding alpha and hppa again for version 0.11.0: please rekeyword since dev-python/sphinx is added as new dependency, thus you'll have to keyword that plus it's rev-deps.
Thanks in advance.

Since activating all USE flags results in a dependency loop, I first tried to build nose with just "test" enabled. That dies:

copying nose/plugins/attrib.py -> build/lib/nose/plugins
copying nose/plugins/allmodules.py -> build/lib/nose/plugins
copying nose/plugins/__init__.py -> build/lib/nose/plugins
copying nose/usage.txt -> build/lib/nose
running build_scripts
creating build/scripts-2.6
copying and adjusting bin/nosetests -> build/scripts-2.6
changing mode of build/scripts-2.6/nosetests from 644 to 755
>>> Source compiled.
usage: setup.py [global_opts] cmd1 [cmd1_opts] [cmd2 [cmd2_opts] ...]
   or: setup.py --help [cmd1 cmd2 ...]
   or: setup.py --help-commands
   or: setup.py cmd --help

error: invalid command 'test'

Looks like bsd have already keyworded it, closing.
