Because of repeated API and ABI breakage, newsbeuter's developer has decided to include the relevant code of net-libs/lib{nxml,mrss} into newsbeuter's codebase itself. Version 0.8 and later therefore do not depend on these libs any more, and they should be removed from DEPEND in the ebuild.

I've tried removing both libs from DEPEND, recompiled and it worked.

Setting this bug's URL to the newsbeuter changelog which says the following:
