Description Wojtek Aleksander 2003-06-22 12:05:29 UTC
In version 1.2 of the game ace (known as Ace of Penguins) all executables were
located in /usr/bin, whereas after upgrade to 1.2-r1 all the executables were
moved to /usr/games/bin without a warning or a message to the user. The
Changelog does not mention it too, in fact the latest entry in the file is dated
to 2001-05-06

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. install ace-1.2 and see where the executables are
2. install ace-1.2-r1 and see where the executables are

Expected Results:
There should be at least a notice for the user either before the merge or after
since many links and menu definitions depend on the location of binaries. Not to
do so is simply apalling. The Changelog should be filled as well.

the changelog mentions adding games.eclass support

all packages that support games.eclass utilize the games hierarchy (exes in
/usr/games/bin)
