grub 0.97-r6 on amd64
no boot menu, there is nothing, just a black screen. but i choose a kernel (blind)
with version grub 0.97-r5 everything is alright.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge grub
2.reinstall in mbr
3.run
4. error (no screen)
