Please do not file 0'day requests. When the maintainer doesn't react within a week, it's early enough to do so.
Comment 2 Michael Gaber 2008-07-11 16:21:18 UTC
just to be pedantic: it was a 1-day-request ^^
Comment 3 Michael Gaber 2008-07-31 09:25:37 UTC
and now it's a 20-day-request.

It's an *alpha* version and normally is something that should be kept in an overlay. And we currently don't have libpurple packaged in our tree. I tend to resolve this as LATER, as I currently don't have the time to maintain yet another package.

Well, seeing that pidgin ships and installs it, this is void.

Maybe when I find the time, but this is not something that is high on my priority.

Guess there's a reason why it's still alpha. ;)
Comment 8 Boris Petersen 2009-02-24 19:19:56 UTC
it's alpha for a reason. It's a first skeleton so developers have something to start. You are welcome to participate in coding by going through the todos in the code or step by in #centerim on freenode and ask for unkonwn ;)
Comment 9 Sven Wegener gentoo-dev 2010-06-24 21:14:08 UTC
There will be no non-working alpha in our official tree.
