Description Toralf Förster gentoo-dev 2008-07-09 08:45:04 UTC
Although my Logitech mouse works under gdm, I read during boot the message that the device is unknown. The 2006.1 LiveCD however recognized that device correctly:

Is there actually a problem other than the name of the device not being read properly?

Oh no, currently it is a cosmetic problem (therefore I chosed the low severity) - however sometimes a harmless message indicates a much more underlaying problem, that's why I filed this bug.

No more livecds, so closing this bug.
I wonder if this is still an issue with latest CDs / kernels.
