Description Martin Väth 2008-06-22 09:22:04 UTC
When the ${PORTDIR} (or some overlay directory) path is a symbolic link,
its canonicalized path is of course different. However, portage-2.2_rc1 seems
to canonicalize this path at the wrong place:
It shows the warning message "..." is missing repo_name.

Indeed, inserting some debugging output in the code, I found that the reason
is that the path associated to the "gentoo" repo_name is its canonicalized
path, and so it is of course not found in the list of paths consisting of
${PORTDIR} and overlay directories, and so this name is not removed from
the list for which *no* warnings should be printed.

At this place, this is of course not a serious problem, but I am afraid that
this missing ${PORTDIR} <-> "gentoo" association might also cause problems at
some other places...
