Description Norberto Bensa 2003-06-13 23:19:52 UTC
can't use mosfet's liquid in kdm. kdm switches to dotnet or something like that. A
symlink in /usr/kde/3.1/lib/kde3/plugins/styles/ pointing to /usr/lib/kde3/plugins/styles
fixes the problem

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge mosfet-liquid-widget
2. change kdm's style to liquid
3. no liquid in kdm
Actual Results:
Errrr.... I told you :-)

Expected Results:
Guess!! Use liquid in kdm

Comment 1 Rene Androsch 2004-02-15 09:03:40 UTC
Didn't work in KDE 3.1.4 and KDE 3.1.5.
So I won't expect this to be working in KDE 3.2.0 ? (But would be too cool)

ugh, another one - not a 100% dupe, but...

Comment 3 Norberto Bensa 2004-07-06 09:25:07 UTC
Errrr, no. It's not even a 1% dupe!
The bug you're referring to talks about liquid no compiling with newer versions of KDE, while this bugs talks about not being able to use liquid theme in KDM.

Personally, I don't use liquid anymore (plastik is much more professional) so I don't care about this issue anymore.

Thanks

If you had read the other bug, you would have noticed, that I want to remove the package entirely. That's why I "jointed" the bug reports.
Comment 5 Norberto Bensa 2004-07-06 10:40:27 UTC
Ah. Ok. No problem with me :-)

Thanks,
