From http://gai.sf.net: "GAI, The General Applet Interface library is a library that will help applet programmers alot. The goal of this library is to give programmers a simple yet powerful applet interface. This library supports both Dockapps and Gnome 2 Panel Applets. The applet program doesn't have to care about if the applet will be used on the Gnome panel or in the dock." This is my first ebuild, so please be gentle. :) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.

again, ebuild probably needs to use gnome2 eclass and it is a little weird theres no dep on gnome-panel or something for an applet library (?)
Created attachment 13411 [details] gai-0.4.1a ebuild Updated ebuild to include gnome-panel dependency if gnome is being used. Added gnome2 eclass but I'm new to this and having tried the gnome2 eclass on its own, it didn't provide much for this ebuild. Although it's an applet library, Gnome support is optional. Without Gnome, it'll just compile with gtk+.
