If you're talking about the '[reply]' button in bugzilla, there have been no relevant cosmetic changes to bugzilla in more than a year (when it moved to GNi, and now it's at Hyves).

------- Comment #2 From Robin Johnson 2008-06-09 00:35:21 0000 [reply] -------

This [reply] link, no idea how to word it any better. It's pretty new that it doesn't work and I neither changend my browser setup to allow javascript on gentoo.org, nor did I change it back in quite a while. The last time I temporarily did that, was when the help link on the front page triggered a javascript driven popup and this may be two years or more ago.

Per CVS annotate, that part of the code was last touched 3rd March 2006.
In the upstream bugzilla CVS tree:
template/en/default/bug/edit.html.tmpl rev 1.69.2.2

When's the last time you know you used it and it worked?

The "reply" stuff based on javascript since I know about bugzilla.
Its IMO the best solution for this and it doesn't require a server action.. everything is done on the client side.

I don't think that we will change that in the future.
