Description Ioannis Aslanidis (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-05-31 22:06:16 UTC
Over 30 days without open bugs, seems that current stable version is buggy and brings compilation problems to some users which might have been resolved in the latest version.
Comment 1 Jeroen Roovers (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-06-02 05:59:49 UTC
Stable for HPPA.
Comment 2 Friedrich Oslage (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-06-04 22:40:51 UTC
Tested =net-wireless/kdebluetooth-1.0_beta8 on sparc.

Compiles fine, no test failures, no collisions, works as expected.

sparc stable, thanks Friedrich
Comment 4 Raúl Porcel (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-06-05 11:18:11 UTC
Err, wait a second, this needs newer bluez-*

Betelgeuse: is that okay? It needs >=net-wireless/bluez-utils-3.11
Comment 5 Raúl Porcel (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-06-05 11:48:39 UTC
Helps if i cc him

Stabling a newer bluez-utils is something that should have been done ages ago but as it needs documentation changes and in general making sure that people figure out how to use the new services I have been postponing it. I guess I should stop slacking at some point and write the doc updates.
Comment 7 Dawid Węgliński (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-07-06 07:58:48 UTC
CC us then. :)
Comment 8 Arkadiusz Miskiewicz 2008-11-12 21:33:38 UTC
AFAIK kdebluetooth for kde 3.x no longer works with bluez 4.x series (some kind of notification was dropped in bluez 4.x that kdebluetooth relied on)
Comment 9 Friedrich Oslage (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-12-31 20:33:14 UTC
sparc stable, removing ppc as they have it stable too

amd64, x86: bluez-utils-3.36 is read to go stable as well, see bug #230591 and after that you can do this bug :)
Comment 10 Markus Meier gentoo-dev 2009-03-08 01:39:28 UTC
amd64/x86 stable, all arches done.
