Description Joseph 2008-05-28 04:56:38 UTC
When upgrading to KDE-3.5.9 superkaramba-3.5.9 will not compile on AMD64
it compiled OK on my other x86 boxes but it always fails with:

meter_python.o: In function `PyString2QString(_object*)':
meter_python.cpp:(.text+0x234): undefined reference to `PyUnicodeUCS2_AsUnicode'
meter_python.o: In function `QString2PyString(QString)':
meter_python.cpp:(.text+0xa2): undefined reference to `PyUnicodeUCS2_FromUnicode'

superkaramba-3.5.9 works great on my AMD64
Only diffrence i see is that i have
"sys-devel/automake: 1.4_p6, 1.5, 1.7.9-r1, 1.8.5-r3, 1.9.6-r2, 1.10.1"
Comment 2 Joseph 2008-05-28 15:17:51 UTC
On my AMD64 & x86 I only have:
"sys-devel/automake: 1.10.1"

I've recompiled: dev-lang/python as well but it doesn't help, it fails at the same spot each time but only on AMD64 (on x86 there was no problem).
Comment 3 Joseph 2008-05-28 22:48:50 UTC
I downgraded to "automake-1.8.5-r3" same error:
