New ebuild for the yaws web server. Yaws is a fast small dynamic contemt HTTP 1.1 webserver written in Erlang. I suggest the net-www group. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.

im sorry i just dont have time to process this. somebody else might like the opportunity so i return it to wranglers.
Yaws has had yet another release by now, this time called 1.30. The proposed ebuild will work for 1.30 as well (assuming it is renamed ofcource)
Definitely one for the web-apps herd to look at. Stu
The ebuild for yaws 1.22 works well with the newest release 1.31 as well, after renaming.
Yaws version 1.40 has been released. Since yaws now handles php files, and there is a php-cgi in portage (see bug 18640) I have modified the ebuild to include a minuscule patch to take advantage of this. /emil

Created attachment 22435 [details, diff] yaws-1.40-gentoo.diff Yaws expects the php binary that handles cgi to be named 'php' but the php_cgi ebuild creates the binary 'php-cgi'
A new version of yaws, 1.41, has come out. Since yaws now supports configuration of the php executable, the original ebuild for 1.22 works fine after renaming. emil
Yet another version of yaws, 1.44, is available. As always the ebuild works nicely after renaming. Really, couldn't yaws go into portage soon? It is close to 10 months since the initial submission of the ebuild. /emil
Hi, Sorry - we can't accept your ebuild at the moment. We can only accept ebuilds that the Gentoo developers can actively support and maintain. Unfortunately, we currently don't have a Gentoo developer who is willing to take on this ebuild. If you really want to see your ebuild become part of Gentoo, then the best way is to become a Gentoo volunteer yourself. You can volunteer by sending an email to recruiters@gentoo.org, quoting this bug's ID number as a reference. Best regards, Stu
