Description Diego Elio Pettenò (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-05-11 15:13:47 UTC
Your package is runtime-depending on sys-devel/automake standing to http://tinderbox.dev.gentoo.org/misc/rindex/sys-devel/automake . sys-devel/automake is a tool used almost always at build-time, (it's either a build system or a generator - sorry this is a generic template I start with so I can't tell you right away which one). This means that it should only be depended at build-time.

Please correct your ebuild or document why it is used as a runtime-dependency so that it will not be suspected again.

Thanks,
Diego

Fixed in CVS without version bump, along with many other QA fixes (like a gcc DEPEND). I remember not having checked whether LDFLAGS are respected now, to name but one of your regular QA checks. smbc still exhibits an executable stack issue that can only be resolved by rewriting some of the functions.
