Nooone depends on this, noone wants it; noone uses ICQ anymore. I nominate for package removal. Should you want it, know that if you make the buggered configure script work, it also fails w/ gcc-4.3.0 according to Debian. But not even Debian cares. http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=417332 >>> Emerging (1 of 1) net-libs/libicq2000-0.3.2 to / >>> Downloading 'http://pandemonium.tiscali.de/pub/gentoo/distfiles/libicq2000-0.3.2.tar.gz' --2008-04-21 21:29:49-- http://pandemonium.tiscali.de/pub/gentoo/distfiles/libicq2000-0.3.2.tar.gz Resolving pandemonium.tiscali.de... 195.52.219.14 Connecting to pandemonium.tiscali.de|195.52.219.14|:80... failed: Connection refused. >>> Downloading 'http://mirror.gentoo.no/distfiles/libicq2000-0.3.2.tar.gz' --2008-04-21 21:29:49-- http://mirror.gentoo.no/distfiles/libicq2000-0.3.2.tar.gz Resolving mirror.gentoo.no... 129.241.43.242 Connecting to mirror.gentoo.no|129.241.43.242|:80... connected. Upstream is dead too. Although media-plugins/vdr-vdricq depends on this. CC'ing vdr team. They may want to preserve this package, and maybe they want to write a patch for gcc-4.3 compatibility ;-)
