just wondering... did you test this on Alpha? also theres another couple of licenses in libopie/ that will need to be checked and inserted etc.
Yes, I built it on Alpha. I built pam_opie to get opie support for proftpd via pam. However, I couldn't get it to work. Proftpd never printed the challenge though I saw it get it via strace and ltrace. I ended using proftpd's mod_otp instead, bypassing PAM. You may want to kill this bug if there isn't much interest in getting it to work. I didn't catch the additional licenses in libopie. They are in bug #21452 (which has problems as well).
