Description Stefan Behte (RETIRED) gentoo-dev Security 2008-03-18 19:43:31 UTC
See: http://archives.neohapsis.com/archives/fulldisclosure/2008-03/0274.html
Effected are:
VMware Workstation 6.0.2 and earlier (only 6.0.2.59824 in portage, but has fetch restrictions set)
VMware Workstation 5.5.4 and earlier (5.5.5.56455 already in portage)
VMware Player 2.0.2 and earlier (only 2.0.2.59824 in portage)
VMware Player 1.0.4 and earlier (1.0.5 already in portage)
VMware Server 1.0.4 and earlier (only 1.0.4.56528 in portage!)

Todo:
- put vmware in ~x86 (or mask it? I don't know what would be appropriate here)
- get new versions into the tree
