Am getting following error while starting initiator after installation in FC8-xen



[root@EC4T16CG-155335 init.d]# ./open-iscsi start
Starting iSCSI initiator service: FATAL: Error inserting ib_iser (/lib/modules/2.6.21-2950.fc8xen/kernel/drivers/infiniband/ulp/iser/ib_iser.ko): Unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg)
                                                           [  OK  ]
Setting up iSCSI targets: iscsiadm: No records found!
                                                           [  OK  ]

this error is not duplicate of bug#213257.

sorry for being inconvenient to u.

what are ebuilds?
(probably installing directly from internet.)
i need to do it manually.

This is a *Gentoo Linux* [1] bugzilla... We use ebuilds to install packages, not manual compile. If you want to compile stuff manually, move to LFS or something. 

You apparently are at a wrong place here.
