libtool: Version mismatch error.  This is libtool 2.2, but the
libtool: definition of this LT_INIT comes from an older release.
libtool: You should recreate aclocal.m4 with macros from libtool 2.2
libtool: and run autoconf again.

Since neither eautoreconf, not elibtoolize does fix this, I really have no idea what to do with similar junk. libtool-2.2 is package.masked now at least.

post the full build log.  autotools shouldnt have been re-run which means whatever version of autotools you have on your system shouldnt matter one lick.

package builds fine for me with libtool-2.2.x installed.
