net-misc/br2684ctl requires linux-atm as a dependency. But net-dialup-2.5.0 already provides the br2684ctl daemon, so I believe net-misc/br2684ctl should be removed from portage.

On the other hand, net-dialup/br2684ctl is an unmaintained debian branch of the daemon, while linux-atm's br2684ctl daemon already includes the debian patches. So it makes no sense to keep the ebuild for the unmaintained code.

As for linux-atm-2.5.0's stability, the code is only released after a great amount of tests/time, so it should be fairly stable.
