Hi, doing an emerge -e system, coreutils-6.10 (~amd64) installed the mktemp binary as expected now. Due debianutils is installed after coreutils, it removes the /bin/mktemp binary causing serious problems (mostly with depscan). This bug uses ~amd64, debianutils-2.28.2 and coreutils-6.10-r1. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. install coreutils and debianutils 2. OR emerge -e system. 3. Actual Results: /bin/mktemp is removed causing serious problems. Expected Results: /bin/mktemp untouched, leaving the coreutils versions on its place.
sys-apps/debianutils-2.28.2 doesn't install mktemp at all. Previous versions didn't install it either since sys-apps/mktemp is a separate ebuild (which blocks >=coreutils-6.10). So, you'll have to give us some working instructions how to reproduce your issue, the ones provided here don't work.

Eh, for debianutils-2.15-r1 we clearly don't have any fix, since the ebuild doesn't exist and was removed 8 months ago. It was also WONTFIXed ages ago. Sorry.
