Description Henry Gebhardt 2008-01-23 00:10:17 UTC
When running ds9 from the command line it immediately segfaults. Upstream knows this, and will attach a simple patch shortly.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge =sci-astronomy/ds9-5.1
2. run ds9 from the command line (under X, of course).

Following what upstream says to do.

This is to be put in the files dir.

Hi,

Thanks much for your patch and x86 indeed has a bad
stack smashing issue. I've added your patch to portage
and ds9 seems to be happy now.

Best,
Markus
