I have kde-base/kdm-3.5.7-r3 installed while not 

After trying to login using kdm the session is killed and the following in logged in ~/.xsession-errors:

/usr/kde/3.5/share/config/kdm/Xsession: line 59: /usr/kde/3.5/bin/startkde: No such file or directory
/usr/kde/3.5/share/config/kdm/Xsession: line 59: exec: /usr/kde/3.5/bin/startkde: cannot execute: No such file or directory

Obviously, kde-base/kdm should force installation of kde-base/kdebase-startkde.
