Description Christian Ashby 2008-01-05 10:39:28 UTC
As description. Building rhythmbox with 'ipod' use flag fails as follows:

configure: error: iPod explicitly requested but libgpod couldn't be found

Workaround: emerge libgpod

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add ipod to use flags in /etc/make.conf
2. Build rhythmbox
Comment 1 Christian Ashby 2008-01-05 10:41:33 UTC
Update: This seems to be included however when hal (another requirement) is added to use flags - confusing, but fair I suppose. Please close if necessary.

emerge -pv media-sound/rhythmbox output? config log? emerge --info?

As mentioned the dependancy is tied to HAL not IPOD, which is reasonable - I'll close this. Apologies for the confusion.
