Description Kamil Kuduk 2007-12-28 22:13:36 UTC
Eselect-gnat-1.3 makes bad entry in /etc/env.d/55gnat-i686-pc-linux-gnu-gnat-gpl-4.1.
etc-update shows error:
!!! Unexpected end of config file: variable ADA_PROJECT_PATH
!!! 'ParseError: Unexpected EOF: /etc/env.d/55gnat-i686-pc-linux-gnu-gnat-gpl-4.1: line 9 in /etc/env.d/55gnat-i686-pc-linux-gnu-gnat-gpl-4.1'
>>> Regenerating /etc/ld.so.cache...
because last variable is empty:
PATH=/usr/i686-pc-linux-gnu/gnat-gpl-bin/4.1:/usr/libexec/gnat-gpl/i686-pc-linux-gnu/4.1
ROOTPATH=/usr/i686-pc-linux-gnu/gnat-gpl-bin/4.1:/usr/libexec/gnat-gpl/i686-pc-linux-gnu/4.1
MANPATH=/usr/share/gnat-gpl-data/i686-pc-linux-gnu/4.1/man
INFOPATH=/usr/share/gnat-gpl-data/i686-pc-linux-gnu/4.1/info
LDPATH=/usr/lib/gnat-gpl/i686-pc-linux-gnu/4.1:/usr/lib/gnat-gpl/i686-pc-linux-gnu/4.1/adalib
ADA_INCLUDE_PATH=/usr/lib/gnat-gpl/i686-pc-linux-gnu/4.1/adainclude
ADA_OBJECTS_PATH=/usr/lib/gnat-gpl/i686-pc-linux-gnu/4.1/adalib
ADA_PROJECT_PATH=
should be sth like:
ADA_PROJECT_PATH=/usr/lib/gnat-gpl/i686-pc-linux-gnu/4.1/adalib

Reproducible: Always

Expected Results:
make proper entry in /etc/env.d/
Comment 1 George Shapovalov (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-12-29 09:57:52 UTC
Sorry, did not check what happens when no libs are installed. Fixed now - ADA_PROJECT_PATH is only set when there is a corresponding non-empty entry installed by one of the libs.
Thanks for reporting!

George

PS
Now there is a notion of "primary" gnat compilers. To set the ones you want to use with libs, please edit /etc/ada/primary_compilers and list the ones you want to use (e.g. x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-gnat-gcc-4.2), one per line. Standby for a more detailed announcement.
