Description Andreas Proschofsky (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-05-02 17:35:37 UTC
Here an ebuild for cinelerra 1.1.5 which works for me. Most of the work to get
it compiling was done in the forums, where t0nik provided a patch:

http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=42082

I just put together the bits and modified the old ebuild from vapier and raker.

Altough it compiles and runs fine for me, there are still some issues:

*) the libmpeg3 part conflicts (overwrites) media-libs/libmpeg3 , the version
provided in cinelerra seems to be more recent, don't know how to handle such a
situation (btw. this is no new problem, it has also been like that with the
older cinelerra ebuilds)

*) I took out the CFLAGS-setting part of the old ebuilds because it just didn't
work for me

*) I changed 'make' to 'emake' for parallel building, works for me, hope it
doesn't create problems for someone else

waiting for feedback and suggestions ;-)

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge cinelerra
2.
3.

Actual Results:
be happy

I haven't tested this, but any way this can end up in portage if it works out? I'd
like to try it that way but don't have the time to invest to do it manually.

It sure would be great to get this project going again.
