Doug,  I  believe  you  are  the  maintainer  of  this  package,  Just  a  note  for  you,  The  ebuilds  that  had  been  spread  for  the  169.04  drivers  did  not  exactly  work  correctly,  at  least  not  for  me  and  on  more  than  one  box  I  had  numerous  problems.  I  believe  because  there  were  big  changes  in  the  driver,  just  renaming  the  ebuild  did  not  seem to  work.  I  can  tell  you  that  the  169  series  drivers  installed  on  a  debian  box  with  a  gentoo  sources  kernel  worked  perfectly,  really  perfectly  having  been  installed  with  the  official  nvidia  installer.  I  believe  the  ebuild  has  to  be  reconstructed  completely.  This  indeed  is  an  important  package  as  the  debian  box  shows  big  improvements  with  the  new  driver  over  my  gentoo  boxes  that  work  properly  only  up  to  the  100.14.23  series  drivers  in  portage  currently.
