i emerge java {ibm-jdk-bin-1.5, ibm-jdk-bin-1.4, kaffe}, i tested java with easy text base application and it works, java (all of the 3) fails if i invoke jedit

the jvm ibm-jdk crashes with a coredump + the following error message

impossible to use jeditor, not tested other graphical application
