Hi!

This is an ebuild for device-mapper, the new version of the Logical Volume
Manager present in 2.5 or greater kernels.

It should almost certainly go in the same place as the LVM libraries (sys-libs).

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:





(Flagged the bug as "normal" instead of "enhancement" because, well, anyone with
2.5+ and LVM is up the proverbial creek without it :-)

About to submit an ebuild for lvm2-user (the userspace utilities for LVM2, the
complement of lvm-user.

Note: if bug 22768 gets added to the kernel the lvm2 and device-mapper ebuilds will need to allow people to build it on a 2.4 kernel, but could check for a version with the LVM2 backport patches applied.
