Description Paul Bredbury 2007-10-16 01:13:54 UTC
Hi, here is an ebuild for the demo of Enemy Territory: Quake Wars.

It contains both the client & server.

(In reply to comment #1)

Added ~amd64 keyword to ebuild, installs & runs fine apart from useless ATI drivers.

etqw-demo-1.1_p5.ebuild

Better version number, and SRC_URI.

Needs manual download of icon, though.

I keep getting stupid

valexia etqw # ebuild etqw-demo-1.1_p5.ebuild digest
Appending /usr/local/portage to PORTDIR_OVERLAY...
!!! /usr/local/portage does not seem to have a valid PORTDIR structure.
errors, which ironically other pkgs don't have, also placing it under /usr/portage/games-fps doesn't help either, produces same error. Only thing I can find online is that it's an error in the ebuild (or the nameing thereof)
Comment 7 Olliver Schinagl 2007-11-25 00:24:48 UTC
removing -demo from the ebuild works, so for some reason it doesn't like -demo- in there, no clue as to why.

Your directory name has to match the ebuild name.

valexia etqw # ebuild etqw-demo-1.1_p5.ebuild digest

The ebuilds was named -demo, but your directory was not.

etqw-demo-2.0_p1.ebuild

Here's a new ebuild for the new v2.0 demo.
Comment 10 Dan Roberts 2008-01-27 06:56:35 UTC
The icon used in the ebuild is no longer available at the original location:
