Description Harlan H. Bloom 2007-09-23 14:06:40 UTC
emerge --update --newuse --deep world failed on media-sound/esound-0.2.38. Since I fixed the problem, I don't have the exact error message, but it was something like "jw: unable to find". I had to emerge app-text/docbook-sgml, then esound emerged correctly and I could continue.

Apparently there is a dependence in media-sound/esound that is not accounted for.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. app-text/docbook-sgml
2. Continue

Actual Results:
emerge media-sound/esound fails with error messages that don't make much sense!

Expected Results:
emerge media-sound/esound finds ALL of it's dependencies.
