Description Fernando J. Pereda (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-09-19 19:57:59 UTC
Hi arch fellows,

The 1.5.2 series have been for months in the tree (also, 1.5.2.5 has been in the tree for month than a month now). Big changes from the latest stable series can be found here:

http://www.kernel.org/pub/software/scm/git/docs/RelNotes-1.5.2.txt

Since then, only bugfixes and documentation updates have happened in the code:

http://www.kernel.org/pub/software/scm/git/docs/RelNotes-1.5.2.1.txt
http://www.kernel.org/pub/software/scm/git/docs/RelNotes-1.5.2.2.txt
http://www.kernel.org/pub/software/scm/git/docs/RelNotes-1.5.2.3.txt
http://www.kernel.org/pub/software/scm/git/docs/RelNotes-1.5.2.4.txt
http://www.kernel.org/pub/software/scm/git/docs/RelNotes-1.5.2.5.txt

Upstream's work has moved to 1.5.3 series (which I also added to the tree) and considers 1.5.2.5 stable.

As always, remember that git comes with a very good test suite to help you in your job.

`emerge --onlydeps git` without FEATURES=test should fix that.

Is this a duplicate of 203283? Oh and a new git release is out.

That, it is. Thank you.
