Description Jens Reinemuth 2007-09-10 08:08:20 UTC
Unlike for other languages like perl or python there is no "php-updater" which searches the system for installed modules of the php-interpreter that should need to be recompiled after an update of the php-Package.

At least for example the eaccelerator needs to be recompiled in order to keep a webserver running without en 500-error if using its API...

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Update php
2. Browse your websites if using any pecl-packages...

Actual Results:
Needed to do an manual search for pecl-packages an manually reemerged these...

Expected Results:
There should be something like an "php-updater" to do the job...
