I didn't see Flood in the new app-admin/apache-tools 2.2.4-r4. I would be nice to include it some place, if not with apache-tools. See http://httpd.apache.org/test/flood/ for more on Flood. I plan to build it, so if I have time to create an ebuild, I will submit it, but unfortunately, my time is pretty limited. Reproducible: Didn't try
Is someone still interested in adding this? Please answer back or I will close this bug. Thank you.

I attempted to log in and respond when I got mail on this from you on 2015-10-28, but the site bombed when I tried that. Just for the record, I am still interested Apache "flood" testing, but it's fine to close this request. It's apparent to me now that the only way to get this kind of thing done in Gentoo is to do it yourself. I guess after 8 years with no response, that would be obvious.

We went ahead and closed the bug cause nobody replied. 2 things as to why I replied: - the Gentoo Java team are understaffed and many requests just went unanswered because of a lack of manpower. The bug queue reached over 1k bugs at one point and it's now (slowly) diminishing. Feel free to submit an ebuild whenever you feel up to the task.. - .. which leads us to the 2nd point: the Gentoo project has a mirror on Github. https://github.com/gentoo/gentoo/. Again, fork the tree and send us a PR. We'll look at it. Cheers!
