Hi,

proxsmtp is an SMTP wrapper around any arbitrary filter, eg. shell script. It's similar to clamsmtp but not aimed at virus-scan only. The filter can either accept or reject or discard the mail (like clamsmtp/clamav), or also modify the contents (unlike clamsmtp).

An alternative init that permits multiple filter configurations

I'd just finished making a build of this for myself - should have checked here first as this one is much better (ebuild noob myself)

However if you make a proxsmtpd dir in /etc and place your conf files in it you can use this init script to launch multiple proxsmtpd processes (the same way openvpn/net.* is setup)
