I've just added app-pda/pilot-link-0.12.2 to the tree. For now, it's in package.mask to allow for further general testing and to give you the time needed to make sure your packages work with the new version as it features major changes. The following packages use (or can use) pilot-link: app-pda/gnome-pilot app-pda/jpilot app-pda/libopensync-plugin-palm app-pda/malsync - has no maintainer and no herd. app-pda/multisync:pda app-pda/pilot-mailsync dev-libs/libmal kde-base/kdepim:pda kde-base/kpilot
There does not currently appear to be a release of gnome-pilot that works with 0.12.
[snip] 21:15 < dang> Ooh, I misread. 21:15 < dang> It may work afterall... 21:15 < dang> Or at least some versions may work... [snip] 21:29 < EvaSDK> ok first good news, restoring works ! 21:29 < EvaSDK> and basic conduits as well 21:29 < EvaSDK> I'll have to reinstall evolution to get back the "standard" evo conduits since mine fails summary: gnome-pilot-2.0.15 + pilot-link-0.12.2, works more on that tomorrow hopefuly
me again, everything seems to work well on a 2.18.3 gnome desktop (evo-2.10.3, gnome-pilot-2.0.15) so as far as my tests goes, gnome-pilot as the green light :)
Thanks, Gilles! I've checked the rest of the packages: app-pda/gnome-pilot - OK, cf. comment 3. app-pda/jpilot - fixed with version bump to 0.99.9. app-pda/libopensync-plugin-palm - OK. app-pda/malsync - depends on ~app-pda/pilot-link-0.11.8 now. app-pda/multisync:pda - OK. app-pda/pilot-mailsync - currently broken anyway. dev-libs/libmal - will be fixed with version bump to 0.44 after unmasking pilot-link-0.12.2. kde-base/kdepim:pda - OK. kde-base/kpilot - OK. Thus, I'll unmask pilot-link-0.12.2 later tonight.
Unmasked and therefore: Fixed in CVS.
