Description Kazankov Alexander 2007-08-15 13:28:27 UTC
net-nds/openldap-2.3.35-r1 with net-dns/bind-9.4.1-r1 don't work. libldap
More precisely bind can't work with libldap from net-nds/openldap-2.3.35-r1.
I use obviously working ldap db and a working bind config from other server.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
emerge openldap bind
copy the right config of bind
/etc/init.d/named start

but if emerge -1 "=net-nds/openldap-2.2.28-r7" and emerge -1 bind
/etc/init.d/named will start. And everything fine. DNS working perfectly.

emerge -1 openldap bind
/etc/init.d/named will not start.
Actual Results:
/etc/init.d/named don't start.
