I'm trying to emerge xorg-x11 on a Core 2 Duo machine using the Amd64 profile.Trying to emerge mesa gives this error :

The error shows up with each version of mesa in the portage tree, so it's really a more general bug.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Use a Core 2 duo machine with amd64 profile
2. Try to emerge mesa
