Description Dieter Ries 2007-07-29 12:33:57 UTC
The ATI Catalyst Controlcenter /opt/bin/amdcccle failed with:

# /opt/bin/amdcccle
/opt/bin/amdcccle: error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

even if sys-libs/libstdc++-v3 is installed and its path is in /etc/ld.so.conf, which provides 64bit libstdc++.so.5.

revdep-rebuild always remerged ati-drivers-8.37.6-r1.

After installing app-emulation/emul-linux-x86-compat it worked. So I think, ati-drivers-8.37.6-r1 should depend on emul-linux-x86-compat.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge ati-drivers-8.37.6-r1
2. eventually unmerge emul-linux-x86-compat
3. try running /opt/bin/amdcccle --> error
4. emerge emul-linux-x86-compat --> it works

Already depends on it.
