Quoting from the URL mentioned above: > There is no longer a separate JNLP Developer's Pack for > Java Web Start versions 1.5.0 and beyond. > > The jardiff tool, jnlp-servlet.jar file, and jnlp.jar file > can be found in the samples directory of the JDK. I think we should have a jnlp-bin-1.5.0.ebuild that extracts those files from some jdk 1.5.0 sources, and the same for 1.6.0. By installing sun-jdk with USE=examples I found those files contained in the directory sample/jnlp/servlet within the archive. The 1.5.0 version of jnlp.jar seems to differ significantly from 1.2, while the 1.6.0 jar differs by only one byte in size, which might be due to the compiler version number recorded in classes and the manifest, but I'm not sure there. Classes are binary different.
this could be a candidate for java virtuals.
And how can I now javaws for 1.6.0?
