if lyx< 1.4.4 is installed this should be a blocker.

the latex-beamer class has been masked because its included in tetex. but the beamer class release included in tetex dosen't contain the layout file "beamer/lyx/layouts/beamer.layout because in the 1.4.4 lyx version it's already included. So i guess lyx < 1.4.4 should be a blocker, because people which have lyx installed expect the beamer class working in lyx. At least ther should be a hit.
