I've installed 2.5_beta6 on ~amd64, and it works perfectly for me. I suggest it be keyworded ~amd64.

I installed IE's 6 and 7 with german locale and the following things occured:

1) At the end of the install process, it says:
which: no ie6 in (/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin...)
 /home/robert/bin/ie6
which: no ie7 in (/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:...)
 /home/robert/bin/ie7

2) IE6 and 7 do not display png images.

3) IE7 cannot open the "Settings" dialog.

I'll keyword this baby ~amd64 as it pmasked anyway, but you might want to have a look into this.
