Using Glib > 2.13, every mono application gives memory-warnings due to the new requirements of Glib, which will keep in 2.14, the next stable release that will be used from Gnome 2.20 i guess. Mono has already fixed this upstream in the SVN, and Debian also fixed this with a patch against current stable (1.2.4, the same we're using). I'll attach the patch, and a modified ebuild that uses it. It works great on my laptop. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install Glib > 2.13 (i'm using Glib 2.13.6) 2. AFAIK we don't have glib > 2.13 in portage yet, so there is no need of porting mono SVN changes into the tree in this particular case. Thanks for the report, but right now I'm going to close this bug. If new version of mono isn't released before new glib makes it to the tree, please feel free to reopen it.
